The bug report doesn't show a very good how to "if it is a how to" I'm new to linux and need something more detailed please.

The bug report is to report a problem with deamon and see what the developers think needs to be done to fix it. It doesn't look like you're just not understanding how to use it. It looks like a problem that needs someone else to fix. It happens from time-to-time and helps us all improve linux a bit more. If you could write a comment in the bug report then that might help the developers pinpoint what the problem is. It'd help them to know a brief spec of the relevant hardware, such as how much ram you have but if you're unsure then it's good to be brief
