veo webcam with ubuntu 8.10

Does ubuntu 8.10 support the veo webcam? lsusb shows web cam.

Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0932:1112 Crescentec Corp. Veo Web Camera

But ls dev/video* shows no such file or directory

I tried Ekiga Softphone to see what would happen and no device found.

At this time the Crescentec webcams are not listed as being supported in Linux.

Creating drivers depends on the cooperation of the manufacturer. Logitech is Linux-friendly.
