randr 1.2 in ubuntu
Is randr 1.2 a part of Ubuntu 7.04? I've seen various hints that it is.
If not, can a user add randr 1.2 to Ubuntu? Ideally just by installing a package, but more involved methods would be OK as well.

OK, I searched for randr under feisty and got back some results, but which, if any, provide randr 1.2? I'm guessing x11proto-randr-dev, but this is only a guess.

In answer to the second part of your question here is a link to packages which contains randr 1.2 support:
http://
They are neither supported nor endorsed by Ubuntu, so you are pretty much on your own if you want to give them a go.

So the answers are no, 7.04 doesn't have xrandr 1.2 out of the box and to get it you have go outside the box.
