How to install without erasing data from Hard Disc.

I want to install Ubuntu 6.06 (CD) in my PC without Erasing Data s and all existing Software .Plz help me i am not an expert in hardware.

first of all, you dont want to install such an old ubuntu. here's instructions on how to download and burn to a cd the latest version:
