The basic steps for creating a web page are:

1. Create the material you want to present. If you know nothing of HTML then you can either learn it (your local library might have some books on that subject) and/or you can use a word-processor like OOo Writer. When you have done that you can open your document in KompoZer and it will be converted to HTML.

2. Ask your ISP for permission to post your material to the server.

3. Use FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to transfer your material from your home computer to the server - gFTP is the programme that will do this.

Remember that you are presenting yourself to the whole world and that whatever you want to communicate should be done in a manner that others can understand. There is no room for "shortened" English here.

Good Luck.

Yeah if you use dsl provider that give you some space to create a website. Something like say verizon
members.verizon.net/name
name = your user name.

Komposer is the app I have. You can import themes. I won't tell you how it is possible to import themes from copyrighted programs like Namo or front page, but it can be done....

I used domainsdoneright.com for my web hosting. Reasonable rates and excellent support from Sierra Web Design

I missed the wanting free space on the first read. You could open a free blogger account, then paste ALL the html from your pre-prepared page into the blogger account using the "edit html" tab on blogger. This would let you post a web PAGE. I don't know how you could easily get truly "Free" space for a webSITE (multiple pages)

Most Internet Service Providers give you access to web space on their server. In my own case, that space is 50 Megabytes which should me more than enough for anyone. My web page (site) comprises 12 pages, 2 style sheets, lots of images, a music file and several folders totalling 1.3 Megabytes.

chintalvaady, ask your ISP, the one you have your internet account with, how much web space is included with your account.

If you want a domain space then you will need a domain name and that you will have to pay for.
