wireless connection

Asked by donatog_12

I have installed ubuntu under windows xp home ed. When I send a command, in a terminal window,'sudo lshw -C network' , get the state DISABLED for the wireless net card. How do I can change the state of the card if it's not disabled under windows?

Can you supply the output of 'sudo lshw -C network' so we know which wireless adapter needs to be dealt with?

The docs for Intrepid do not exist - Link below:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/bcm43xx

You may want to follow this tutorial for 8.04:

http://www.foogazi.com/2008/04/28/how-to-enable-bcm43xx-in-ubuntu-804/

Can you help with this problem?
