Hi Suman,

Question 1:
The easiest way to install Ubuntu server is to download the Ubuntu server ISO file from Ubuntu.com.
Go to http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download and select the server edition. After that you need to burn the ISO file on a cd. Put it into the pc and boot the pc with the cd inside. That should get you to the installation process.

Question 2:
It is possible to reset your password. Follow the following steps:
- Turn your computer on.
- Press ESC at the grub prompt.
- Press e for edit.
- Highlight the line that begins kernel ………, press e
- Go to the very end of the line, add rw init=/bin/bash
- Press enter, then press b to boot your system
- Your system will boot up to a passwordless root shell
- Type in passwd username
- Set your password
- Type in reboot
