Cant get resolution for Intel 82Q963/Q965 higher than 1024x768

Hi all

I have installed Ubuntu 7.04 and its working fine, however in win I had a resolution of 1280x1024 and would like the same in ubuntu.

Ive tried many diff. solutions proposed but cant get it right.

The vid card is part of the mb 82q963/q965. I had a look @ Intel and they refer to drivers: http://www.intellinuxgraphics.org/download.html

But I havent a clue what to do...

Please help

This is my first week on on any linux...
