Freevo doesn't open - just hangs

Asked by NakiMum

I've only just switched over to Kubuntu/KDE and freevo is installed. But when I open it, it hangs and eventually just closes. when I run 'sudo apt-get install freevo', I get the following message:

You are not part of the group 'freevo', you cannot exploit shared resources (such as the cache). Your data will be saved in /home/tanya/.freevo
Can't find all Python dependencies:
No module named utils

Not all requirements of Freevo are installed on your system.
Please check the INSTALL file for more information.

Can someone please explain in step-by-step guide. I'm still relatively new and not a computer whizz (yet)

I figured out that because I'm running Kubuntu, Freevo tends to hang. But in Ubuntu it works a charm
