cant install ubuntu from disk

I tried to boot from disk but windows starts up, any ideas?

did you mean you can't boot from cd to install ubuntu?
or something else?

I have the same problem. I said choose to install ubuntu inside Windows and after I was done, it asked me to reboot. After I reboot the computer, window starts up with no sign of ubuntu anywhere.
