I want to translate Ubuntu just for me!!

I want to make a special translation for my language 'Arabic', because the current one is not good at all, I have the time and the ability but I do not know how can I get started from scratch??

In the translations section in above menu, this section needs your help to translate any Ubuntu version to your own language. You can go to https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/intrepid/+lang/ar to be a contributor to help Ubuntu can be translated to Arabic. Maybe, you should help to complete the Ubuntu next version.
