No resume image

Asked by eoalvarez

Upon start up everything is fine until login window. Instead I get shell with message "try to resume from /dev/ ....... no resume image

I then get log in from ttyl
and am able to get to desktop by startx

everything is fine again until trying to get files from disk or usb drive. They are recognized, but aren't able to be opened. I check with fdisk and they are present however, they still can't be opened

I tried to mount but was told to dmesg | tail

edwin@Atalanta:~$ dmesg | tail
