Ubuntu Server 8.10 LTS

Hi All,

I m not good on Linux. :(

I have installed Ubuntu 8.10 LTS Server into my PC
configuration of My PC is.
intel pentium III processor.
320 MB ram.
20 GB ATA HDD.

After installing it, the system reboots and it cant install GRUB on it.

I can access pc from terminal but I gant got GUI.

What should i do?

The LTS version is version 8.04, not 8.10.

The server version doesn't install a GUI by default, if you want a GUI you should install the desktop version.

You can install the desktop on a server version using
  sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

But Can i Install it from CD? Bcoz, I dont have internet connection... :(

You can install from the alternate CD, but not from the desktop CD.
