subversion can't remember my password if using from ssh

Asked by Henry Xing

I'm using ssh to connect to my workstation. And when I use subversion, it just can't remember my password for my repository. Every time I run svn co or up, it will prompt me to input my password. The URL of the repository is https type. It began to happen after I upgraded my Ubuntu one day but I could not remember exact version and time.

And if I use subversion locally, like desktop, in my workstation, my svn password can be remembered. So I think my configuration for subversion should be correct.

I don't think the link gives the solution.
This solution says using svn+ssh to connect to remote repository without typing password repeatedly. And I've done that already. When I use the desktop of my workstation and checkout or update codes from remote repository, my password for svn can be remembered.

My problem is when I remotely logins into my workstation (in this case, it's ssh), and then access the remote repository, my password for svn can't be remembered.
