AR2413 chipset not working in Ubuntu
I've installed ubuntu last release and I'm not able to connect to internet via my wireless network adapter Atheros AR5005G. I've imported the driver from microsoft xp but nothing happened.
How is it possible to make it work?
thanks

Hi,
You will need an Internet connection for this. So please connect your wired ethernet card to your wireless router using a LAN cable.
Please first blacklist ndiswrapper by running following command:
sudo echo "blacklist ndiswrapper" >> /etc/modprobe.
Then, reboot your pc.
Then, try this procedure:
http://
If that procedure does not work, please send us the output of the following command:
sudo aptitude search linux-restricted
Regards,
Mark

Hi Luigi,
Please enter the following command to edit the file /etc/modprobe.
sudo gksu gedit /etc/modprobe.
Add the following line to the end of the blacklist file and then save the change:
blacklist ndiswrapper
