Ubuntu

using windows with ubuntu

i had windows xp then downloaded ubuntu.. i was told i could access windows still.. whenever i try to load it at start up the screen just lays starting up, stays black & dsnt do anything else.. am I doing this right? is there a different way? thanks dee

hi,
if you can boot into Ubuntu, please post the output of this command to check if your windows partitions are intact.

sudo fdisk -l
