Internet saffety software

Hi there
Could someone please let me know if Ubuntu (8.10) has software that acts as a internet-nanny. I've got a 15 yr old son who uses the internet quite often. But I don't always have time to keep an eye on him.
I don't want to sit with him and look over his shoulder, but to give him a little privacy when he's on the internet. But I'm really concerned about porn, etc.
Someone got any advice for me?

Also you can block the sites in Firestarter firewall's outbound policy.
