Problems with ricoh memory card reader

I have a dell laptop Inspiron 6400 and I cant use the ricoh memory card reader. The memory card that I use is a memory stick pro duo.

in what way cant you use your card reader?
u cant install it or cant view its contents or something else?

I cant see anything when I put the memory card, cant see anything in the file system neither in the desktop.

check for /media/ folder.
it has all the partitions that are mounted
and could you ever use it?

I think that is not possible mount Sony memory cards in ubuntu.

I have the same problem on Acer 5720 with ricoh card reader.
Who know, when the problem will be solved?...

go to menu>accessories>terminal
type:
sudo su
enter pass

type the following commands one by one in terminal:

fdisk -l

and

blkid
and paste here the results.

IM having the same problem running ubuntu satanic 10.04 on my toshiba satellite a305
heres my info for fdisk command:
