Asked by propman on 2008-12-31

Hi All

update-manager -d

Runs fine until this:

W:Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jaunty-security/Release Unable to find expected entry partner/binary-i386/Packages in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?)
, E:Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Update aborts

Logged on to http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jaunty-security/Release

but could not find an entry for "partner" listed.............

I have the same problem. I suppose the old fashioned method is required here. (Replace intrepid with jaunty in sources.list)
