Changing Xubuntu Desktop Directory

Suppose I want to change my desktop path from home/alexandros/Desktop to home/alexandros/Documents. Is this possible in Xubuntu? If so, how do I achieve it?

installing ubuntu tweak would help in the work that you want to perform
change desktop directory and logout to allow the change
