Ubuntu and Windows

Thanks to Jonathan Marsden for letting me know the limitations of Ubuntu. It is a poor quality operating system I have to say. In the 21st century 98% of all software bought is windows based so it shows the in effectiveness of this product to cope with operating normal software.
This software does not even allow the download of other operating system with out the error message keep popping up No application suitable for automatic installation is available for handling this kind of file WHY? Is there any software that you can download in this site?
