A new feature that I've seen in the new kernel is a better management in the Intel graphics card management. So I think that it would be a REALLY good improvement to the Ubuntu 8.10.

alpha 2 of jaunty runs with the new kernel, and so will jaunty. see:
http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/jaunty/alpha2

as for all other ubuntu versions, it might never get into them, except probably for the 8.04.x release that might come somewhen.

Can you help with this problem?
