if your wireless connection does not work in ubuntu.you should install ndiswrapper software in your ubuntu and use your windows driver software in ubuntu to make your wireless work.The ndiswrapper software is available in ubuntu cd.you put in the ubuntu cd and start synaptic package manager in
system->administration->synaptic package manager.
inside synaptic package manager open Edit->Add cd-rom.
and it will ask do you want to add another cd-rom say no and now the extra packages available in your cd-rom will be listed.
scroll down to ndisgtk and right-click and mark it for installation.
now apply the changes and after the software is finished installing close the package manager.
now a new entry will be listed in system->adminstration->ndiswrapper.Open it and install your windows driver software and now you can use your wireless.
