Go To

Systems->Preferences->Sessions->StartUp Programs

Uncheck the check boxes for programs you don't want to start up

Not sure why nautilus would start but I think skype sets itself to autostart (a "feature" I really hate). You have to go into the skype settings and disable it, iirc.

Hi,
in Systems -> Preferences -> Sessions -> current session
Nautilus per default is set to 'restart', if you opt 'trash' it wont start at the beginning of a session.
Don't mix this with 'remove', it will be gone from the list.
You can also create multiple sessions, for further details just click on the help button in the app.

Can you help with this problem?
