no sound from the beginning

I guess most of you must be fed up with amateurs asking questions on here, but here goes, since I installed Ubuntu I have had no sound, I have looked at most of the answers given here, but nothing seems appropriate.

Could you please post your hardware information?

Run these commands and upload the files
lspci > lspci.log
lsusb > lsusb.log

It came up with command not found. The sound card is just an old creative sound blaster ct4810

To help you better we need some infos about your hardware so please open a Terminal from the menu Applications → Accessories → Terminal and type:

lspci

lspci is lower of LSPCI

copy and paste result here.

Seems you have two audio cards:

please try to disable the embedded motherboard audio cards by entering into bios setting and try...
