I HAVE UBUNTU 8.10 ON ACER ASPIRE ONE, HAVE INSTALLED SKYPE BUT THIS CANNOT RUN COSE SOUND NOT WORKING. WHAT TO DO?

first of all skype has not released its version which supports for ubuntu 8.10 and you may be trying which is meant for 8.04 go to skype site and find out more about it.
