Error with playonlinux

Asked by NakiMum

I installed playonlinux, but after I rebooted. I keep getting this message

I can't access 'add/remove programs' or 'package manger'

'E:Type '--2008-12-13' is not known on line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/playonlinux.list, E:The list of sources could not be read.'

Is there anyway I can uninstall it using 'terminal'?

Help is appreciated.

open terminal and run "gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list" giving your password when instructed.
Then examine the file before you.
IT should appear like this

# comments go here
source lines go here usually pointing to something around ubuntu.com

Anything not preceeded by a # or pointing at ubuntu.com should be removed.
This will most undeniably fix the problem with package manager.
As for playonlinux, I don't even know what that is.
