Connecting Motorola Mobile Phone to Computer

Hi,

I use my Motorola Mobile Phone as a modem to connect to the internet provided thro a GPRS service.
in Windows i had mobile software suite which helped me in doing that....i dont know to do the same in ubuntu...Can anyone help....?
