I use Xubuntu 7.04

check in synaptic, there will probably be a spanish package there

gksudo gnome-language-selector (configures for the GDM login)

TraceyLedbetter (concept10) said : #5

If it's not installed, go ahead and install it.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

language-selector is already installled and I configure it to spanish. Only gdm is in english.

Maybe it is a bug

Hello,

Have you tried editing the /etc/gdm/gdm.conf file, adding the line :

$GDM_LANG=es_ES.ISO-8859-1

From what I understand GDM resets itself to a default language, unless you set it.

Hope this helps,
