games on ubuntu dosnot work

Thanks for help on wine,
now i installed the wine
but when i tried to run the windows games like freedom fighter then the
ubuntu8.04 will not work,the pc gets hang
until the dirct restart
all the softwares are working on wine but games are not working
what can i do
please help me

you have to know that any games dont work simply in linux. age of empires, etc this games are exclusively for windows.

Note that this problem is not really a Linux problem, Mac users would experience exactly the same thing.
