Unable to install Windows after Ubuntu

I m using Gutsy. I want 2 reinstall windows as i need some time to get to Ubuntu completely. I installed ubuntu by formatting the windows partition & leaving other partitions intact. When i try 2 install Windows, it is copying the installation files to one partition & on reboot it is not proceeding up. The process carried out it is it removed my Ubuntu grub & it created some installation files on one partiton. But i have recovered the Grub right now. Don know how to go ahead.

I have checked this link b4 & tried to use partition Editor in livecd & it is showing my entire disk as one partition. So i m not able to go further steps

if you have windos you can make a partitition with partitionmagic, this partition is in format ext3.

but if you don have windows you can make a partition with the ubuntu software that is inside ubuntu cd.

Well i m able 2 c my old partitions & its not in ext3. Actually i installed Ubuntu by formatting the C: drive & undisturbing other partitions. What i can do with partition margic in this case.....

you can resize the partition and make several partitions.

but if you want that you pc is ok. windows should to be in the first partition.
