How do I play BBC Radio?

 I have just installed Ubuntu and am connected to internet. Tried to listen live But Totem says "Cannot play yet

Which release of ubuntu are you using?

BCC Radio works in Konqueror in Kubuntu, so I guess it should work in Totom too. Have you tried installing the w32codecs and either libxine-extracodecs or gstreamer packages?

I believe realplayer handles that in Ubuntu/Firefox

- install realplayer (may require automatix2)

- When you get to the BBC Radio site choose open in external player (realplayer)

Mplayer handles realplayer streams. It's generally not recommended to install automatix however.
