ubuntu 8.10 searching the mirrors during instalation

While installing Ubuntu 8.10 at 82% says installing apt searching the mirrors! Seems to be a long time, with no activity from the hard drive at this point of the install!

If you have network the installer looks for a server where it can get updates from. If you network connection is slow this may take some time.
