can I install Ubuntu 8.1 over 8,04

I already have Ubuntu 8.04 installed and running and have just received Ubuntu 8.10. Will 8.10 install directly over 8.04?

After i go through the steps to upgrade 8.04 to 8.10 should the software sources" reflect the change? Using Dell Mini 9.
