get an error " unable to resolve host (computer name)"

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

installed Linux Mint Elyssa Version 5. Main version.
MintUpdate, Package Manager & partition manager don't launch. re-installed it 3 times still no avail. in terminal, if i type "apt update" or other commands get the error message " unable to resolve host (computer name)"
it may not be a bug... i'm new to Linux...

Take snapshot from Applications>Accessories>Take Snapshot
