ubuntu 8.10 can't print to shared from windows HP LaserJet 4350 from EOG, Gthumb, GIMP

with 8.04 all is correct
but in 8.10 i can print form OO, but not from EOG, GThumb and GIMP with error:
"Can't prompt for authorization"
when I try to connect to 4350 directly by net, not through the windows share - all is ok
Tried to reproduce the error on shared Canon IP4200, but there are no problems with it.
