NetworkManager Applet 0.7.0 always drops connection after ~30 seconds

Asked by steinfal

Every time I boot my computer, I pick my wireless network (NETGEAR) from a list and it connects. However, the NetworkManager Applet always tells me the signal is lost after about 30 seconds. I know the router is working fine and I did not have this problem until I upgraded to 8.10 Intreped Ibex. I will be happy to provide anymore information that may help to solve this problem. The command output below has been produced after the wireless connection has been fixed, or reselected.
Should I file a bug?

the lspci command output reads:

00:0b.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. Atheros AR5001X+ Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)

the iwconfig command output reads:

More specifically, thank you for looking this over. I wanted to submit it as a bug myself. I searched for similar bugs and did not find any. However, every time I file one, I find it is a duplicate anyway.
