Using an 3rd party dns service and Bind9

Asked by idh63

I am using easydns as my dns server. Do I need bind. If so, in what way?
I have read a ton of stuff on DNS and it makes my brain ache.

you can find a guide on changing your dns in ubuntu here: https://www.opendns.com/homenetwork/start/device/ubuntu

you will have to change the ip's opendns gives you on that page to whatever the ip's easydns gives you

thank you Gord,

I had done that. I think that answers my question. Bind is handing off responsibility to easydns.
