Wired link down at WPA problems

Asked by Lynoure Braakman

Since the latest kernel update I have gotten wired link down at a sight of a WPA problem. This is annoying as I'm not even connected to any of those networks! I'm using Broadcom NetXtreme BCM 5751M wired and ipw2200 (Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 2200BG). Disabling the wireless from Knetworkmanager is a workaround. What package to report against, the kernel or the networkmanager, or something else?

As far as I know this is a bug in the network-manager package, one of the reasons the release candidate has been delayed. It should be fixed soon, once they have the RC ready I would think.

Can you help with this problem?
