升级为8.10后，文本框变的很长（The default width of text field is bigger than 8.04）

在ubuntu从8.04升级到8.10后，发现状态栏的项目图表比原来宽了，而且打开google，baidu，很显然，文本框比原来长很多。怎么修改呢？
after update to 8.10, the icon in the state bar is wider than before,and that: open google.com,the width of text is bigger than before. How to do?

I meet this problem,too. When I go to the webpage http://www.baidu.com I found that the textbox on this webpage is wider than normal.

I used the China locale (zh_CN.UTF-8)
LANG=zh_CN.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE="zh_CN.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC="zh_CN.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="zh_CN.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE="zh_CN.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY="zh_CN.UTF-8"
LC_MESSAGES="zh_CN.UTF-8"
LC_PAPER="zh_CN.UTF-8"
LC_NAME="zh_CN.UTF-8"
LC_ADDRESS="zh_CN.UTF-8"

But when I set the locale to en_US.UTF-8 this problem doesn't happen on Google.com, but it still happens on same webpages which encoded for Chinese code

I found this bug on ubuntu8.10 and ubuntu7.10
