using fix for Bug #165254: timeoutd crashes after session 'break'

Asked by davidh

I located a fix for timoutd - Shawn Wilden supplied a fix for Bug #165254 : timeoutd crashes after session 'break'. My problem is that I am not confident enough to implement the fix without some instruction. Will the fix be included as an official update at some point?
thanks

package is a sync from debian but you can open up a bug report to include the patch and it will be processed soon...

General application of a patch

patch -px < filename.patch

The x value of -px can be any number. It represents how many directories to take off from the patch. Most of the time it will be x=0 though. For more information and other patch commands, see man patch.
