Need Help In Downloading Drivers For Wireless In XP

Asked by taurus

I got ubuntu in one computer, and I installed XP and Vista on 2 other computers. I need to enable wireless on these computers? Someone suggested that I install the wireless network drivers for these O/S's from the computer company (Gateway) that I bought the computer from. But, Gateway is asking that I pay for support.

How can I install the needed drivers to enable wireless on these computers without going to dumb Gateway?

Can someone help me post links to webpages where I can find drivers for my XP wireless connection? Not only that, but drivers to the laptop display, sound, video, etc. I'd greatly appreciate it.

Sorry, you should ask in a Windows Forum, this is an ubuntu forum.

Would anyone intelligent out there care to answer this question, despite the fact that it's in an ubuntu forum and despite the fact that ubuntu has given me problems? I'd rather recieve answers from someone who is english-speaking, not italian, etc. Thanks.

taurus,

I would like to emphasise what Cesare said.

This is an area for ubuntu help. You're asking for help with Windows.

Good luck fixing your problems anyway.

Can you help with this problem?
