How to deinstall 8.10

hi, yesterday i upgraded my ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10
BUT i don't like the changes very much and many things don't work any more!
i want 8.04 back but i can't find out how to deinstall the update....

help please!

Downgrading through ubuntu versions is really not recommended.

Your best bet is to back up all of your files and use the 8.04 installation cd to start on a clean install.
