Since Ubuntu 8.10 cant get onto WIFI internet

Asked by swift240

Using latest Ubuntu 8.10 Athlon Dual Core 64bit

I used to be able to get on the Internet WIFI not a problem, but since the upgrade I cant.

To get onto the Internet I am having to use a cable.

Every thing is the exact same as before Ubuntu 8.04 as regards my WIFI.
The WIFI PCI card is Linux compatible and I have never had any such problems before. So I can only assume its the latest ugrade thats stopping me.

I have no clue as to what to do here.

TIA,

Mike.
