changing username and password

Whenn I try to login the message is username or pw incorrect

er... your password or user name is incorrect them...

Did you set a password when you installed? if so it will be that one. you will have been also prompted to input a user name.

if nothing works and you cant remember the user name or password just do a clean reinstall.

In ubuntu usernames are always in all lowercase letters. Please make sure that you are using all lowercase letters.

If that does not work, you can use the following procedure to discover your username and reset your password.
