screen saver not working after upgrade to 8.04

hi...

I've recently upgraded to 8.04.

My screen saver is not coming on... the screen goes blank then after a few minutes it turns off.

I've gone through the screen saver options but it's not helped.

when i had 7.10 it worked ok...

Please help
