when i reboot my computer it skips and goes right to windows

If you have the Ubuntu Disc in the drive and it skips the disk then you need to enter bios when you turn your computer on (using the Delete or F1 key) and change the boot sequence to put boot off CD above boot off Hard drive. Then when you reboot it should boot from the CD.

I read from a guide it may not be Delete or F2, but any key the monitor says at boot. In my case, it is F12. Once on the bios, you need to watch carefully the presented window, usually there are some sort of instructions there.
