Imac BootCamp Ubuntu?

Can I use boot camp to install ubuntu without windows? I am running Tiger and want to keep this as well

Your question was: "Can I use boot camp to install ubuntu without windows?" and die Answere is YES, on Intel Macs you can!

You do have an Intel Imac right?
- If so. Install Bootcamp, partition your disk with the bootcamp assistant, follow up until you reboot and install ubuntu
- If not, you cannot use Bootcamp. Grab Ubuntu for Powerpc and check the manual

Make a backup of you data before playing around with bootcamp.

Yes Its Intel so instead of using the windows disk use the ubuntu cd and it will accept it? Yes I have learned the hard way and lost stuff before.

bootcamp will not load ubuntu so don't bother trying this folks. i screwed up my harddrive twice trying to install it i need the right steps one by one for this. Anyone helps thanks

Boot Camp does work however i found other ways to load up ubuntu and this question is closed thank you
