slow video on WebCam in aMSN

Hi All,
I purchased a cheep Logitech QuickCam. The video is very slow. Why is that?
Due to cheep cam output (CMOS), video card in my DELL Inspiron 1000, broadband speed(Comcast),
Ubuntu 8.4 drivers?

The reason for your slow video speed is most likely due to the specifications of your computer (Dell Inspiron 1000). There is no video card, only an integrated video chip with 32 MB of shared memory. The overall RAM is stated as 256 MB in the low and mid-range model and 512 MB in the top of the range model.
