Graphical SubVersion client for Ubuntu

Asked by tdn

I have introduced quite af few users to Ubuntu or Kubuntu. They've all used Windows before and are now pleased with Ubuntu.

However, I don't know what to say when they ask for a graphical SubVersion client for Ubuntu...
They have been used to use TortoiseSVN in Windows...

I cannot get them to use the command line svn client.
These users never use command line tools and are too afraid of it.

Can you recommend a graphical svn client that is equivalent to TortoiseSVN?

Thanks,
Thomas

You can try RapidSVN (Add/Remove programs, search for "svn)

It's not exactly the same as TortoiseSVN because it's not integrated with the shell (nautilus file manager, in this case) but a full GUI app where you do all the work.

More info on http://rapidsvn.tigris.org/

Hope that helps,

Joao, thanks. I just installed RapidSVN. It does not seem as easy as TortoiseSVN, but I guess it is better than the console.
